Mike grew up in a military family full of love for God and country with loving parents that worked hard and held the line through life's challenges. They raised him to value hard work, faith and family values. Some of his earliest memories are of his dad strumming John Denver and Dan Fogelberg tunes while he and his brother played on the living room floor. 

Mike has embraced that same love of music and has built his name around Texas playing stripped-down acoustic sets that blur the line between a show and a conversation. Mixing country standards with songs pulled straight from his own story, Mike writes about hard seasons, second chances, and the kind of faith and love that gets built when life doesn’t go as planned.
